- Steve: Why are there six muffins here again?
- Me: I put my muffins back on the plate.
- Steve: This isn't the muffin library! You don't return your muffins!

5 Things I Dislike:
Drowning in tasks for work. Made a to-do list today and ran out of room.
Is this rain ever going to stop?
Two meetings scheduled at the same time.
Didn’t do something I should have done, and it’s coming back to haunt me.
Election Day keeps my man at work really late.
5 Things I Like:
I got to see my mom for a few hours yesterday. Hectic, rushed hours, but still.
I find it hilarious that people were getting married on a sidewalk and using the crosswalk as their “aisle,” holding up traffic and everything.
My birthday is coming soon.
Sorting through my fabric stash to determine what I will make… whenever I get time to actually make it.
New shoelaces!
Five Things I Like Today
Steve and I have been together for nine years.
We ate a delicious dinner at Epcot and got dessert for free after a kid threw food at us.
We watched the fireworks.
You can now e-mail yourself the little video from the end of the Spaceship Earth ride.
I saw a little girl doing the cheer from Bring It On.
Five Things I Like Today:
The PTSA at my school is amazing.
Steve brought me home a doughnut and a cruller from a nearby cafe.
I had a nice conversation with a coworker.
I get to decide which country to eat in when we go to Epcot tomorrow evening.
Registration Day is calmer when the freshmen have their own separate day.
Five Things I Dislike Today:
A coworker yelled at me for no reason. Then he denied yelling at me and stomped away.
I had to work the bookkeeper table at registration, and for the second year in a row my envelope came out short on money.
I bought some steaks on sale, then left them at the store and had to go back for them.
I didn’t realize I had left the steaks until I had peeled off my rain-soaked clothes and put on warm, dry ones.
No birds again today.
Five Things I Like Today
We got our new shirts at work today - with my design! I’m so excited to see everyone wearing the shirts I designed on Friday.
There was good music at the morning meeting.
I updated the staff directory.
My new skirt was really comfortable.
I got a new employee ID.
Five Things I Dislike Today
There was a lot of griping at work today.
The birds that Mohinder likes to watch didn’t come by today, and he sat by the window sadly waiting for them.
I noticed a flaw in the shirt design.
It was hard to get anything done today with so many interruptions.
The complimentary breakfast was really bad.
Five Things I Dislike Today
It’s the last day of summer break.
Mohinder clawed a hole in my shirt.
The electricity was out for an hour, and one of the computers didn’t recover.
I didn’t accomplish anywhere near as much as I’d hoped to this summer.
Some of my cool work friends won’t be coming back this year.
Five Things I Like Today
I have a new homemade skirt to wear for my first day back to work tomorrow.
We ate breakfast for dinner.
I rediscovered a song I haven’t heard in about 20 years.
I watched an MST3K movie.
I looked at my summer task list and realized I accomplished more than I had thought (although not nearly as much as I had originally hoped to).
